First Steps in Newquay provides childcare for 62 children aged 0-5 years old.
We are a purpose built Nursery on the site of St Columb Minor CP School.
The site is very secure with fencing all around and security gates on every entrance and all rooms are fitted with CCTV and security door entry system is in place. We have our own gated access and have good visual security all around the building.
Within our building we have three separate classrooms. Each of our three rooms work very closely together and we have excellent systems in place to provide a smooth transition when the children take their next step and move into the 'bigger room'. We also liase very closely with St Columb Minor CP School to ensure that the children are prepared and excited about starting their new school when they are 4 years old.
